What we collect, and why.

What's collected

The contact, services and licence-request forms (/contact, /services, /license-request) collect a name, an email address, and whatever you write in the message field. The licence-request form additionally collects your Machine ID (a one-way hash of your computer, not personal in itself, but treated carefully because it identifies a specific workstation) and the payment confirmation code from a purchase. Every submission also records the sending IP address, briefly, for abuse triage.

Buying a licence hands your billing details (name, email, card information, and a computed sales-tax amount) directly to Stripe, our payment processor. This site never receives or stores your card number; it only receives the confirmation that a payment succeeded.

Who it's shared with

Four processors, and no others:

• Cloudflare: hosts this site and its forms, and processes every request.
• Resend: delivers the contact and licence-request emails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: the anti-robot check on every form.
• Stripe: processes payment and calculates sales tax.

All four are outside Québec. If you are a Québec resident, this is a disclosure required under Law 25: your information is communicated outside the province to the services listed above, each under its own privacy and security terms.

Retention

Enquiry and licence-request emails are kept in the owner's mailbox indefinitely, the same as any business correspondence. Stripe retains payment records per its own policies and applicable financial regulation. There is no marketing list and no cookie-based tracking on this site.

Your choices

To ask what's held about you, or to request deletion of an enquiry or licence request, write to us via the contact form. There is no email address published anywhere on this site: the form is the only channel, by design.
