Before you buy.
Can I try it before buying?
Each plugin has a 15-day free trial, with no card or account, once per computer. The plugin stops working at the end of the trial unless a license is purchased. The trial is provided without warranty.
Where do I download the plugins, and do I need admin rights?
From the downloads page. The installer puts the plugin in your own user space, so it needs no administrator rights and touches nothing outside your account. It includes the 15-day free trial. The plugins are also on the Autodesk App Store; the license you buy unlocks the commands either way.
How do I receive my license?
After payment you receive a payment confirmation code. In AutoCAD software, on the computer to activate, type MDLICENSEMANAGER and send a license request with that code. We issue the key within two business days of receiving a complete request.
Can I move my license to another computer?
Yes. The license is bound to one computer, but you can move it to a new computer once per 12-month period, at no charge. Send a license request from the new computer and we issue a new key. You agree to remove the license from the old computer no later than when you activate the new key. A license cannot be sold or given to another person (License Agreement, ss. 3.4, 3.5 and 4).
Does it work offline?
Yes, once activated. A perpetual license is a signed key, bound to one computer and verified on it. Once activated, it works offline, with no account or sign-in. See the offline activation docs for details.
What do “12 months of updates and support” include?
For 12 months from purchase you get every update we publish and support by email. After that the plugin keeps working; new versions require a renewal at the price then in effect (License Agreement, s. 6).
Can I get a refund?
The 15-day free trial is the evaluation; we don't refund a change of mind after purchase. If a plugin does not perform substantially as described in its documentation within 12 months of purchase, tell us: we will correct the defect or provide a workaround and, if we cannot do so within a reasonable time, we will refund the price paid for that plugin (Terms, s. 6; License Agreement, s. 9).
