What we do
Two ways to work together.
Custom plugin development
Every company has a handful of jobs nobody automated because they were too specific to sell as a product. Those are the ones worth building. We scope the work, quote a fixed price, and deliver a plugin that installs and behaves like the ones already in the MD Automation tab.
- Fixed-price written quote and a services contract signed before work begins. Any change of scope gets a new quote.
- Native ribbon, right-click and command-line integration
- A clean single undo, like every native AutoCAD command
- The code written for your project is yours on delivery and full payment. Our pre-existing tools and libraries remain ours; you receive a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them with the delivered tool.
- Fixes for AutoCAD software updates for a period set in your contract (typically 12 months)
- Ongoing maintenance available afterwards, bought as a pool of hours
Team training
A live online session for your drafters on getting real speed out of the MD plugins: the pick-first workflows, the keyboard paths, and the settings worth changing on day one. Recorded, so the person who joins next month gets the same session.

Prices in Canadian dollars, taxes extra. The scoping call is free and carries no obligation: if the work is not worth doing, we will say so.

Before you write.
Do we own the code?
The code written for your project is assigned to you on delivery and full payment: you may modify it, give it to another developer or bring it in-house. Our pre-existing tools, libraries and components, and general improvements to them, remain ours; you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them with the delivered tool. The services contract sets out the details.
How long does a project take?
A single command is usually two to three weeks from agreed quote to installer. A larger set of tools runs longer, and the quote says exactly how long before you commit to anything.
What happens when AutoCAD software updates?
Your contract sets a period, typically 12 months, during which we fix the delivered tool at no charge if a new AutoCAD version stops it from working. After that, maintenance is available as a pool of hours.
Can you work with our existing tools?
Usually. If you already have AutoLISP, VBA or .NET tooling, a new plugin can sit alongside it. Rewriting the old tooling is a separate conversation; sometimes it is worth it and sometimes it very much is not, and we will tell you which.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Non-disclosure agreement signed on request (yours or ours).
Is the training only about your plugins?
The session is built around the MD plugins and how to get real speed out of them, using your own drawings rather than a generic demo. If your team wants broader productivity coaching on AutoCAD software, say so when you write and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Can we move a booked training session?
A booked training session can be moved at no charge with at least five business days' notice (Terms, s. 8.4).
Where are you, and does it matter?
Québec, Canada. Work is remote: calls, screen sharing and email, which is how AutoCAD plugin development goes regardless. Both English and French, whichever your team prefers.
