Activate your license

Everything license-related happens in the License Manager, opened with the MDLICENSEMANAGER command. It always opens, even unlicensed, so a new user can activate. It has two tabs: Plugins (start a trial or request a license per plugin) and Licenses (validate a standalone key).

Start a free trial

Every plugin includes a 15-day free trial so you can evaluate it before buying: no account, no payment, no credit card.

1. Run MDLICENSEMANAGER and open the Plugins tab.

2. On the plugin’s row, click Start trial and confirm the prompt.

   

   1. 1A plugin already on its trial shows Trial and the day it ends.
   2. 2A plugin you bought shows Licensed.
   3. 3Click Start trial on a plugin that has no license yet.

The trial activates instantly and the commands unlock for 15 days; the row’s badge shows Trial (and Expired once the term ends).

One trial per computer

The trial is bound to this computer, and only one can ever be started on it: it can’t be restarted or reset later, even after a reinstall. Start it on the computer you will use the plugin on.

Activate a Standalone license

A perpetual license (Standalone type) is a signed key, bound to one computer and verified on it. You request it from inside AutoCAD^® software, we issue it, and you paste it back: no account, no sign-in.

1. Buy a license from the plugin’s page, listed under Plugins. After checkout you get a payment confirmation code.

2. Run MDLICENSEMANAGER on the machine you want to license and open the Plugins tab.

3. On the plugin’s row, open the license-type dropdown and choose Standalone license.

4. Click Request license. Your request, including your Machine ID, is copied to the clipboard, and the license request form opens in your browser with the plugin and Machine ID already filled in. Add your payment confirmation code and send it.

5. We confirm your payment and email back your signed key, within two business days.

6. Open the Licenses tab, expand Standalone license validation, paste the key into the License key field, and click Validate.

   2. 2Click Validate. The key is checked on this computer, with no internet needed.

The key is verified instantly and locally. On success the license shows as Activated on the Licenses tab, the plugin reads Licensed on the Plugins tab, and the commands unlock: no restart, no sign-in.
